Education
Education is a central tenet of CNHP’s mission. CNHP offers outdoor and classroom learning experiences that instill an appreciation for Colorado’s biodiversity. By creating high quality educational resources and trainings, CNHP provides a hands-on training from the layperson to the professional, and most importantly to the next generation of natural resource scientists and managers.

Service Learning
CNHP is a service learning partner with the capstone class for seniors majoring in ecosystem science and sustainability. We have engaged up to twenty students a year from this class who complete projects that include research, outreach, report writing and presentations.

Bioblitzes
A BioBlitz is an intensive period of biological surveying in which teams of scientists, students, teachers, and other community members work together to find, identify, and record all the living species within a designated area.

Wetland Plant Identification Workshops
Based on the content of the wetland plant field guides, CNHP teaches workshops each summer on wetland plant identification.

Colorado Wetland Field Guides and App
CNHP has developed several important resources to help identify wetland plants across the state, including an interactive app with detailed descriptions and photos of over 700 plant species.
