Accomplishments of the program in 2011 include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trained over 30 volunteers<\/li>\n<li>Visited more than 25 sites<\/li>\n<li>Relocated 15 occurrences that were previously ranked &#8220;historical&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Volunteers contributed 275+ hours to the program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Three volunteers were recognized for their efforts:<\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\n<b>Ann Henson<\/b> &#8211; Joint award (Adopt-a-Rare-Plant and Rare Plant Monitoring Stewards <\/p>\n<div>\nAnn adopted the Cathedral Bluffs meadow rue (<i>Thalictrum heliophilum<\/i>). She <a href=\"http:\/\/cnhpblog.blogspot.com\/2011\/07\/adopt-rare-plant-success.html\">visited&nbsp;and updated two occurrences in the Cathedral Bluffs area<\/a>, and collected seed for the Center for Plant Conservation. Ann&nbsp;was also&nbsp;instrumental in revitalizing the program for the benefit of&nbsp;Colorado Native Plant Society&nbsp;members, spending 50 hours on program activities. <\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<br \/>\n<b>Brad Klafehn&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/b><\/div>\n<p>Brad adopted Rothrock&#8217;s Townsend daisy (<i>Townsendia rothrockii<\/i>) and visited all three of his adopted occurrences, spending 45 hours on program activities.<\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both;text-align: center\">\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6456\" src=\"https:\/\/cnhp.colostate.edu\/cnhpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2018\/11\/Klafehn1.jpg\" width=\"320\" height=\"279\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cnhp.colostate.edu\/cnhpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2018\/11\/Klafehn1.jpg 320w, https:\/\/cnhp.colostate.edu\/cnhpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2018\/11\/Klafehn1-300x262.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\">\n<span style=\"font-size: x-small\">&nbsp;Rothrock&#8217;s Townsend daisy<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<p><b>Suzanne Wuerthele&nbsp;<\/b><br \/>\nSuzanne adopted the Hoosier Pass ipomopsis (<i>Ipomopsis<\/i> <i>globularis<\/i>), and visited all three of her adopted occurrences.
