The successful candidates will use automated and manual computer processing to convert existing hard-copy U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) National Wetland Inventory (NWI) maps to digital spatial data. The position will also update selected NWI maps through photo interpretation of color infrared aerial imagery and field verification. For certain projects, supplemental data analysis and report writing may be required.
