Species Profile
As with other Myotis species, surface disturbances could affect this species when using crevices and cavities but numbers of individuals impacted would typically be low due to the remote nature of these roosts, their small dimensions, and the slow development of the surface activities which should give individuals warning. Loss of habitat to water impoundment could be significant and long-lasting in localized areas but this threat has rarely occured over the last several decades CO. However, increased demand for water could lead to increased damning efforts over a short period of time.
