Species Profile
Bats are common in urban and agricultural areas and have been shown to accumulate contaminants (Clark 1981, Hickey et al. 2001). This species has occasionally been found roosting in structures in CO and much of its range is in the foothills near urban centers, so exposure to contaminants is quite possible.
