Species Profile
This species is commonly associated with buildings where it is known to form large materntiy colonies (i.e. Kunz and Anthony 1996). One study (Nielson and Fenton 1994) found that MYLU do not adapt to exclusion as well as EPFU, so might be more impacted by the loss of human-made roosts. However, this species is widespread throughout the state (Fitzgerald et al.) and is also known to roost in many structures other than human-made roosts. Likely use bridges to some degree.
