Species Profile
Based on incidental captures of this bat while mist-netting, it is likely that small populations are utilizing shallow cavities not recieving recreational pressure and rock crevices of varying size that are rarely impacted by surface disturbances. Evidence for such rock crevice roost use has been seen in adjacent states (Bogan et al. 1998; Oliver 2000). Disturbances within rock crevices will probably be relatively low for this species due to the more remote nature of the roosts. See potential threats listed in text of plan.
