Species Profile
Only a few caving community records identify this species using caves in CO. Based on incidental captures of this bat while mist-netting, it is more likely that small populations are utilizing shallow caves not recieving recreational pressure and rock crevices of varying size that are rarely impacted by surface disturbances. Evidence for such rock crevice roost use has been seen in adjacent states (Bogan et al. 1998; Oliver 2000).
