Species Profile
This species is a solitary tree roosting bat and is only ocassionally found in or on human-made structures. In CO this species is most often found using deciduous trees and ponderosa pine forests (Armstrong 1972, Ellinwood 1978), is widespread throughout the state, and is usually found singly or in small groups (Fitzgerald et al. 1994).
