This species is generally considered an obligate of cliff features associated with deep, relatively isolated canyons (Pierson and Rainey, 1998), but it has been documented using buildings on multiple occassions across its range (see Sherwin and Gannon 2005).  However, EUMA is only found in a few parts of western and south-central CO and its limited known range does not overlap with urban areas.
