Species Profile
Very little is known about use of roosting or foraging habitat by Euderma maculatum throughout its range. O'Shea et al. (In Press) documented modest sized maternity colonies (12-18 individuals) of this species using several rock crevices situated in large cliff bands in southwestern CO. Disturbance to such roosts is highly unlikely due to the inaccessability and remote nature of their location. Surface disturbances, including forest fires, water impoundment, and quarry construction could pose a significant threat in severity at a local level but not to the scope of the statewide population.
