Species Profile
The abundance of anecdotal auditory records of EUMA suggest that it is much more abundant than the handful of captures would suggest. Many of the anecdotal acoustic records are along much of the western desert and woodlands of Colorado. These areas have much rangeland, and EUMA range/habitat use may be restricted by the availability of water in these areas. If so, excessive grazing could impact this resource availability.
