Species Profile
This species is common in canyons and desert country and only occassionaly roosts in buildings. It mostly occurs in the western quarter of the state, its range overlapping little with current urban development (Fitzgerald et al. 1994). It generally forms small nursery colonies so state-wide population might not be as impacted by loss of a human-made roost.
