Species Profile
Siemers et al. (2002) documented L. noctivagans attempting to use caves in Colorado as night roosts but never identified individuals day roosting in such structures. Limited use of caves would still create the potential for exposure to WNS at infected sites. Thus, to maintain efforts of reducing the spread of WNS through caves in CO known to be used by this species entry by humans into such structures should be closely regulated and highly justified.
