Tree or water habitat edges near urban areas have been shown to be important to LANO in CO (Everette et al. 2001) . LANO in CO can be associated with riparian areas due to irrigation, so may be found near areas of urban development and could be negatively impacted by these activities. However, they seem to prefer forest edges and females move farther north to rear their young so may be less impacted than other species.
