Species Profile
While this species has been found using human made structures in CO for maternity colonies, it is less common in urban areas and widely distributed across the western 2/3 of the state (Fitzgerald et al. 1994). In CO it can be more often found at higher elevations. Loss of individual roosts is not likely to have a large impact on the statewide population.
