With grazing the biggest concern is loss of water resources. Loss of riparian area, pollutants, erosion contribute to loss of native water sources. This may be mitigated by increase in non-native water resources (troughs), but these may be less reliable resources. NOTE: The concern of rangeland issues for COTO is driven by the size of the SE maternity colony that is located in rangelands.
